According to leaker DylanDKT, the new 14-inch MacBook Pro will incorporate an “M2” chip and will arrive in the second half of 2022. The device is expected to have the same design as the 14-inch M1 Pro and M1 Max models. Additionally, Apple may also release a new MacBook Air with the same M2 chip.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 chip was released in November 2020 and, along with the Mac mini and MacBook Air, was the first model to feature the new Apple Silicon processors. Unlike the current MacBook Pro M1 Max and M1 Pro, the 13-inch model features a similar design to previous Intel models.
