In addition to publishing two advertisements for the iPhone 13 praising autonomy and resistance, Apple has posted a short film shot on the iPhone 13 Pro on the occasion of the Chinese New Year.
The film tells the story of a father, a son and a forgotten village with an extraordinary dream, according to Apple. It was created by director Zhang Meng to celebrate the Chinese New Year, which this time will be the year of the tiger. The video lasts just over 23 minutes and has subtitles (English only) knowing that the people on the screen speak Mandarin.
The Chinese New Year will take place on February 1, 2022. And like every year, this represents an important moment with in particular the Spring Festival. This marks the beginning of the festivities which take place over 15 days and end with the lantern festival.
Apple has released a special edition AirPods Pro in China. There is a tiger emoji engraved on the charging case, as well as on the packaging of the headphones. As a supplement, Apple has given customers who purchase these AirPods Pro a set of 12 red envelopes featuring each Chinese zodiac animal sign as an emoji. It is a tradition in China where a red envelope is given to a loved one usually with money inside.
At the same time, Apple offered a special edition of the Beats Studio Buds headphones, again related to the year of the tiger.
