Apple has filed a patent dedicated to an innovative car sunroof. Apple’s patented sunroof has variable opacity glass, so the driver could adjust the transparency at any time.
The patent also explains that the roof opens in sequence with the side windows, whereas current cars with similar technologies have a fixed sunroof.
On the Apple Car, it may therefore be possible to control the desired degree of outside light that can pass through the window, without having to open the roof. Probably, all these functions would be handled via CarPlay and Siri.
In fact, the patent in question proves once again that Apple is working on its own car, which should be released after 2025.
