Apple releases new videos dedicated to “The Tragedy of Macbeth” and “Swan Song”

Apple TV + has shared a new teaser and a new featurette dedicated to “The Tragedy of Macbeth” and “Swan Song” respectively.

The Tragedy of Macbeth

“The Tragedy of Macbeth” by director Joel Coen and with a cast also formed by Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand is a project announced by Apple last May and which is generating a lot of interest, also from an Oscar point of view.

The new video gives us a glimpse of some scenes from the film, with particular reference to the cast and without much clue to the story, which many will already know from a William Shakespeare tragedy. The video confirms that the entire film was shot in the studio, without any location shooting.

The cast also includes Kathryn Hunter, Corey Hawkins, Brendan Gleeson, Bertie Carvel, Harry Melling and Alex Hassell.

Apple also shared a featurette of Swan Song, a movie with Mahershala Ali already available on the platform.

Mahershala Ali stars as Cameron. Naomie Harris, Awkwafina and Glenn Close complete the cast. The film is written and directed by Benjamin Cleary
