It is still the great vagueness concerning Apple’s first AR/VR headset. If there is now little doubt that theApple VR is indeed a project in the process of concretization the analysts are lost in conjectures on the dates of presentation and marketing of the accessory. For the analyst Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the helmet will probably not be unveiled during the next WWDC but the marketing of the machine could take place by the end of the year or at least before the summer of 2023.
According to some sources reported by Gurman, the iOS 16 binary would be “full of references to the headset and its interactions with the iPhone”. This also means that the launch of Apple VR will probably take place during the life cycle of the iPhone 14, and more precisely between June 2022 and June 2023 (WWDC period). The headset operating system (rOS) should be delivered to developers long before the availability of the accessory.
