German society Eve Systems (formerly Elgato Systems) takes advantage of CES to unveil two of its 2022 novelties compatible with HomeKit. The Eve Outdoor Cam is an outdoor camera for home surveillance, and above all, the first camera from Eve Systems exclusively designed for the HomeKit home automation platform! The cam has rather interesting specifications, such as IP55 certification (weather resistance), motion recognition, a field of view of 157 degrees, and the possibility of filming at night thanks to its infrared filter.
The accessory works in conjunction with a dedicated app. It is the latter which receives notifications and allows two-way communication via the microphone and the speakers integrated into the cam (which can therefore function as an intercom). The Eve Outdoor Cam will be launched on the market in April at the indicative price of 250 euros.
The Eve MotionBlinds is a connected roller shutter developed in collaboration with the Coulisse company. Once again, the accessory is HomeKit compatible, and will be available in Europe through the SmartBlinds.com site. Eve Systems promises easy installation in just a few minutes. Promising.
