Apple is releasing the second public beta of iOS 15.3 on iPhone and iPadOS 15.3 on iPad today. It arrives 24 hours after the version for developers.
Second public beta for iOS 15.3
The first beta of iOS 15.3 did not bring any major new features and it’s the same story with the second. The only noticeable change is a change to the iCloud Private Relay feature. Apple changed the wording to avoid confusion, which may suggest that an operator has blocked the system when the option has simply been disabled in the settings.
It is true that iOS 15.3 can surprise. This update looks more like an iOS 15.2.2 release given the changes. But who knows, maybe we’ll get something noticeable over the betas and with the final version. As for some missing features, such as Universal Control, it will obviously be necessary to wait for iPadOS 15.4 in the spring.
If your device is set up to receive public betas, head to Settings > General > Software Update to grab iOS 15.3. If you are not yet participating in the program and you wish to join it, go to beta.apple.com, log in with your Apple account and let yourself be guided.
Apple does not yet say when the final version of iOS 15.3 will be available for download.
