iOS 15.4 and macOS 12.3: the 3rd public beta is available

Apple is releasing the third public beta of iOS 15.4 today on iPhone and iPad. It comes 24 hours after the equivalent version for developers. We naturally find the same modifications.

The third beta does not bring many new features compared to the first two. The Podcasts application embeds new filters to facilitate the sorting of read/unread and downloaded content. There’s also a warning in the Settings app prompting users to verify their information for the “Emergency Call” feature. Also, the addition of the vaccine passport in the Health and Maps applications works in France. Finally, it is possible to download iOS updates in 4G.

If your device is set up to receive public betas, go to Settings > General > Software Update. You can download the third public beta of iOS 15.4 and then install it.

If your device is not configured to receive public betas and you wish to participate in the adventure, go to beta.apple.com, log in with your Apple account and let yourself be guided. You will need to download a profile for your iPhone or iPad to switch to the beta channel.

In addition, Apple offers the third public beta of macOS 12.3. It too arrives 24 hours after the equivalent version for developers. The only notable novelty is the addition of a button dedicated to the Universal Control function in the settings.
