iOS 15.5 beta 1, here are all the news

iTunes Pass changes name

Apple apparently seems to be working to rename the famous iTunes Pass in the Wallet app, simply renaming it Apple Credit (currently working translation). This novelty has been confirmed by 9to5mac and MacRumors.

Apple Classical, first references

In August 2021, Apple acquired classical music streaming service Primephonic. In the first beta version of iOS 15.5, the first references to the “Apple Classical” app that the company would develop to integrate future classical music-related features were found. At the moment, however, the company has yet to launch a standalone app.

New buttons for Apple Pay Cash

Apple Pay Cash, not yet available in France, now receives two buttons integrated directly into the Wallet application to send or request money.

UniversalControl

If you’re installing iPadOS 15.5 beta on your iPad, you’ll also need to install macOS 12.4 beta 1 on your Mac to keep Universal Control enabled.

Apple is preparing to launch Major League Baseball on Apple TV with Friday Night Baseball. In iOS, the first references to the results of the individual rounds of the match appear.
