Information is shared regarding the new features of iOS 16, which Apple will officially unveil on June 6 during the WWDC opening keynote. These include notifications and health.
Some new features for iOS 16
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, iOS 16 is not going to be the occasion for a new interface. Visually speaking, the new version should be more than similar, if not identical to iOS 15. On the other hand, we should expect big changes with regard to notifications and health monitoring functions.
Apple would also offer something new at iPadOS with a new interface for multitasking. There had already been changes with iOS 15, but some users were quite disappointed that Apple hadn’t gone further to really exploit the potential of its tablets. Maybe iPadOS 16 will change that.
Another operating system will be watchOS 9 for the Apple Watch. Apple would propose major changes related to physical activity and health monitoring. But there is no more information, just like there is no information regarding macOS 13 which will succeed macOS 12 Monterey.
On June 6, Apple will present iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, tvOS 16 and watchOS 9. We could also be entitled to rOS, namely the new operating system linked to the future virtual and augmented reality headset of Apple. But according to Gurman, the helmet itself won’t be unveiled at WWDC.
