It’s a little surprise: in addition to its A15 processor and its 5G compatibility, theiPhone SE 3 would have a much better autonomy than its predecessor, without that meaning that the battery has gained in capacity. Thus, the product sheet of the device indicates up to 15 hours of autonomy in video playback, up to 10 hours in video streaming and up to 50 hours in audio playback, figures that bring the iPhone SE 3 closer to the iPhone 12 mini in terms of endurance.
Apple does not provide any information on the battery, it is possible to lean towards a better optimization of tasks (the A15 would be less energy-consuming for an equivalent task)… or towards a larger capacity battery. The OS description sheet also indicates that the device recovers “Up to 50% charge in 30 minutes9 with a 20W adapter or more”.
The iPhone SE will be available for pre-order from Friday March 11 from 529 euros for the 64 GB version (price up from the previous model).
