Apple has officially announced the spring event performance peek, which will take place on Tuesday, March 8. What will be the possible novelties?

The March 8 keynote will be virtual for security reasons related to COVID-19, with Apple showing a video already recorded with all the news listed one after the other. The slogan is “Peek performance”, and probably refers to the hardware innovations that the company should launch in the coming weeks.

On the Apple event webpage, users can click the Apple logo to access its AR view on iOS and iPadOS devices. On macOS, users can download the file and view the animation in Quick Look.

The logo parade in animation and can be viewed 360 degrees in AR. If you zoom in on the object, you can walk “inside” the object in augmented reality.

What news can you expect from the Apple event on March 8?

The event will focus on hardware, not software. The first novelty should be the third generation iPhone SE, identical in design to the current model, but with 5G connectivity and an A15 Bionic chip. This mid-range device is designed for users who don’t want to spend too much but want to switch from Android to iOS or have a smaller and cheaper, but capable iPhone.

The fifth generation iPad Air is also expected. Again, no design changes from the already revamped 2020 model, but the device is expected to feature the A15 Bionic chip, 5G connectivity and 12 MP camera with Center Stage support.

Finally, new Apple Silicon Macs should arrive. There aren’t many details on this, but Apple is expected to introduce a new entry-level MacBook Pro and a more powerful Mac mini with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

At the end of the event, Apple could release the final versions of iOS 15.4, iPadOS 15.4, macOS 12.3, tvOS 15.4 and watchOS 8.5

The March 8 Apple event will begin at 7 p.m. French time. We will not fail to relay the announcements.
