Apple has opened its first all-female Apple Developer Academy in the Middle East, specifically in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Originally announced in July 2021, the Apple Developer Academy in Riyadh has finally opened its doors to teach students programming and design. The academy has welcomed female students from across the region, ages 20 to 35, with backgrounds ranging from information technology, finance, art, law, and medicine. It is expected that more than 600 women per year will participate in the courses offered by the academy. These include both the 30-day core courses and the 10-month Academy program.

Director of the Apple Developer Academy, Ohood Mohamed Al Nayel, said :

The academy was launched in partnership with Princess Nourah University and Tuwaiq Academy and in partnership with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones.
