The iPhone 14 Pro Max, which will have a 6.7-inch screen, would be entitled to 20% thinner borders around the screen according to new renderings used by production plants. These renderingsby ShrimpApplePro.
Thinner bezels for the iPhone 14 Pro Max
The images are very similar to those already shared in recent weeks. The main change is on the upper part of the screen with no longer the notch as we know it from the iPhone X, but a combo pill + hole for Face ID and the front photo sensor. But for the rest, expect a design similar to the iPhone 13 Pro.
The flight of the day is accompanied by dimensions. The bezels of the iPhone 14 Pro Max are reportedly 1.95mm thick, a moderate reduction from the 2.42mm bezels of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. One of the reasons for this reduction could be to create more space between the upper border of the smartphone and the top of the new perforations which replace the notch. With these edges reduced, the space between the cutouts and the top border would be 2.29 mm.
Here are the images of the cad file and full measurements of iPhone 14 Pro Max that I obtained. I will share more details about it in the coming newsletter. 🧵
