Pwn20wnd proposed version 8.0.0 then 8.0.1 in the wake of the Unc0ver tool for the jailbreak of iOS 14.6-14.8 for iPhone with an A12 or A13 chip.
Unc0ver 8.0 available for even more jailbreaks
The devices having an A12 or A13 chip that can take advantage of the iOS 14.6-14.8 jailbreak with Unc0ver are the iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, SE (2020), 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. There are also iPads that have these chips, but Pwn20wnd advises that Apple tablets do not support the “new” jailbreak.
It must be said that we have already moved to iOS 15, so much so that the latest version is iOS 15.2. But jailbreak enthusiasts know it: you shouldn’t go for the latest software update, on the contrary. The flaws used for the jailbreak have been plugged and are therefore no longer exploitable.
Regarding version 8.0.1 of Unc0ver, it corrects a bug on the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR under iOS 14.6 where a message indicated that the devices were not supported. They are, hence the update which corrects the situation.
unc0ver v8.0.1 is NOW OUT with a fix for the “Unsupported” error on A12 iPhones running iOS 14.6. https://t.co/CRHrWkpeoL

If you have iPhone running iOS 14.6-14.8 with A12 or A13 chip, you can enjoy jailbreak with Unc0ver 8.0.1. Note that the update is also an opportunity to add support for Fugu14 for devices running iOS 14.3.
Unc0ver 8.0.1 is available at unc0ver.dev. The installation is done with AltStore, as was the case with previous versions.
