It becomes a habit: Ming-Chi Kuo has new info on upcoming AR / VR headsets / goggles fromApple. The reputable analyst confirms that Apple’s first mixed reality headset will be unveiled sometime in 2022. Rumors indicate that it will undoubtedly be a very high-end headset , with high-resolution screens for each eye (probably two Micro-OLED 4K panels from Sony), an Apple Silicon processor (equivalent to the M1 in power) for the display, and another processor for the management of multiple sensors. Kuo adds a little additional info on the weight of the machine, which should oscillate between 300 and 400 grams, which is much lighter than the vast majority of current VR headsets.
